In my sixties I had to change my life habits to achieve optimum health. I've been on a weight loss program over 4 years before coming to SparkPeople. I've lost 75 pounds and need the motivation and support to lose 40 more. I've learned that I had to change my behavior toward food. It has been a slow and deliberate process for me. I'm looking forward to continuing success and honest feedback/ advise in achieving my goals. Highest weight 289 Start on Spark. 217 1/20/2020. 209 1/20/2020 I'm down 80 pounds and 8 pounds this month on the app. Tracking activity and food is definitely working. 3/26/2020. 198 I've lost 91 pounds. This is my first day below 200 pounds in 11yrs. Woohoo 🎉🎊🎉🏅🏆. I'm not going back up again because I've changed for the better.

    Oh thanks for stopping by that old blog of my gardens. I had tons of blogs and one day I decided to delete them and start over. One at a time. Back then you had to delete one at a time..not sure how it works now. I don't let them build up anymore. Back to the story. I deleted about 15 pages of blogs but I just couldn't bring myself to delete my garden pictures. yes, they lighten up my heart. Weeds and all...hahaha

    Thanks for commenting on my exercise etc. You are doing great. I have 10# to go and I keep losing 5# and then gaining it back. I am firming up and I am happy with that. We will get to our goal weights eventually. Enjoy your Sunday. Oh Michigan is nice, but right now we are getting lake effect snow and it is about 14 degrees not counting the wind chill. I shoveled this morning after I got back from church, but you can't tell it now. Tomorrow it is suppose to stop snowing- I hope.
