Introduction Text I am a retired educator and I needed to lose 50 pounds when I started really logging in and recording my food and exercise in SparkPeople; I have started using SparkPeople before and never lost more than 10 pounds before I quit using the program. So far in 2020, I have lost 24 pounds using the program. My focus is on eating healthy and reducing my consumption of processed food. I am logging all my food and exercise, even when the food consumption is excessive or not healthy. I am trying to stay focused on my goal and exercising daily to improve my overall health. I am enjoying my food choices and I am not feeling deprived by some foods I have eliminated from my daily diet. I joined a February heart healthy challenge at my gym this year and that really helped me stay with SparkPeople this time around. Look forward to being successful with SparkPeople in 2020.

My preferred weight goal is to lose 50 pounds by Aug. 2020. Realistically, the goal date may need to be closer to October 2020. My food goal is to eat healthier and to reduce my consumption of processed foods. My exercise goal is to do cardio 3 times per week and to do strength training 2 days per week.
