Introduction Text I've been retired for over sixteen years now and have loved every minute. I'm doing things now for me, not for anyone else. I read what and when I want, I sleep when I need to, I've become an Internet surfer, looking for news and information on fibromyalgia. My favorite group is SparkPeople. We share the same interest - trying to lose weight.

I am going to get back to my goal weight in 2020!!

I take walks around my neighborhood three times a week. I wear a pedometer and try to get 3,000 steps a day. I count my calories on SparkPeople. I go to TOPS Club meetings every week.(right now meeting in a local park).

I've been a resident of upstate New York for 30 years. But I was born in Connecticut. I have 2 granddaughters in Arkansas and four grandchildren right here in New York. This is the best time of my life!

I love reading and am a member of a live book discussion group. I'm a hospice volunteer and work at Red Cross blood drives each month. I also volunteer for RSVP which keeps me busy with different things, like selling daffodils and making phone calls.
