Consistency is KEY!
Waiting for Gallbladder removal so low fat... ugh.
Since I've been gone I've gained back some of my weight but I did complete a FULL marathon! It almost broke me but now I'm starting slowly again, starting to walk regularly and doing lots of swimming.
I know what works and what doesn't but my lack of consistency always lets me down. This is my focus for fall.

I am being more realistic with my goals and I am hoping to get to my long term goal by fall 2016.
A quick history:
I'm English but now live in Canada.
I have two gorgeous daughters, have moved with my family into a renovation project and I have a part time job. I don't seem to have time to do anything these days!
I have body issues: I am missing out as I don't like my photo being taken and I am not in more than a couple of pictures of my children. I hate to see myself in photos. The one of me with "Elvis" was taken a few years ago and I like it because there's no double-chin!
I found out in April 2012 that I'm pre-diabetic and have high cholesterol. I had bloods taken after being low carb for about 5 weeks and was no longer pre-diabetic! Woo hoo!!! I now have to work on my cholesterol. My failings are on weekends when my good work all week falls by the wayside and I end up just mostly maintaining... I need to focus and stick with it on weekends!

My Goals:
My goals are to be a good role model for my two daughters and help them to grow up fit and healthy without the overweight issues I had/have.
My second goal is to get fit and healthy and not suffer with the problems that my mum experienced at a young age, such as Type 2 diabetes and dementia.
My third goal is to write novels that people want to read and learn from.
GOAL: To be at my goal weight by my birthday in February 2016!
Final Goal: 128
My Program:
The FastDiet: 5:2 Intermittent Fasting with a focus on lower carbs overall.
Steps: Aim for over 80,000 steps per week.
Swimming: twice per week, 30 mins of laps.
Track at least 6 out of 7 days - everything I eat and eating within healthy ranges for calories, carbs, fat and protein.
Walking, swimming and starting to run again.
