Introduction Text Sparkpeople has been very fun and helpful to me in the past, until a busy season of life made it feel more than I could keep up with. We relocated from Illinois to Louisville, KY about a year and a half ago, and I am feeling the need for the connection and accountability again, so, as the Terminator said, "I'm baaaaack!" My goal continues to be to switch from a mindset of seeking easy and immediate gratification to one of making the kind of choices that will lead to more self confidence, physical and emotional well being, and self control. On a more specific note, this translates to a desire to get to the weight and fitness level I desire and to STAY THERE CONSISTENTLY! I've heard this is possible. Rumors and legends abound. My personal quest is to find my own route to this magical place and set up housekeeping there. "Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it." - Goethe

To get my weight down to within a healthy range. To maintain one size of clothing and get rid of all the rest. To make exercise a priority. To decrease perfectionism. To reduce procrastination. To reduce belongings. To do my best every day.

60 years old and looking forward to "senior discounts". Recent transplant from Chicago area to Louisville, KY due to husband's job change. Married with two dogs and an adult son in my household. Married daughter in Illinois, first grandchild, Isabella Rose, expected April 4th, 2016!!!

I love laughter, words, good drama and comedy, dogs, quilting, walking, nature, learning about animals and about people whose lives are different from what I've experienced. I love so called "nerds" and enthusiastic, whimsical, silly people. I am an introvert, but love people on introvert friendly doses.
