My name's Buggsby and I'm too fat for a lot of things.

Starting weight: 460 pounds

Current weight goal: 400 pounds by October 23rd. I'm visiting a friend in Illinois on that date.

Goal for a month from now: 5/23/17: more water everyday than soda. measuring myself weekly.

Goal for a year from now: 4/23/18: 380lbs. maintaining water intake.

Current Rules:
No more than 2600 calories a day. The goal for losing is lower but this will by my high allowance.
No eating after 9pm
Track every bit of food eaten, every day, every time.
Tuesday is weigh in day.

My Goals:
My personal goals involve walking the mall with my child and not having to lay down the rest of the day because of fatigue. Sitting in a doctor's chair that has (gasp!) sides on it!! FITTING INTO MY SPACE BEAR T-SHIRT. I MADE THAT SPECIAL JUST FOR ME AND IT'S TOO TIGHT. I NEED TO FIT IN THAT. Maybe one day going geo-caching and getting to feel like the resident of Middle Earth I've always been inside as I stroll through the sun dappled woods in search of treasure. Be able to bring my knee up to my chest so I can paint my toes without looking like I'm doing yoga. DO ACTUAL YOGA. That would be nice...

Personal Information:
I'm a mom of a wonderful 8 year old little girl. She's with me on the weekends, and her father the rest of the week. I do taxes for a living! It's really nice to find a job I can actually do that isn't fast food.


Other Information:
I'm actually a bear. Just so you know.

    You are very smart to start eating enough calories for the present weight. I was only eating twice daily and about 1,000 calories. Did not lose weight as my metabolism was slowed to a halt. I am starting again tomorrow and putting all my education to use (meaning I have been reading a lot about losing weight) and upping my calorie count. I made menus with varying amounts of calories each day so my body won't get used to a set amount. So here's to us and losing it.
