Hi my name is Chris, I'm 60 yrs old. I have two grow kids (One of each).a Grand mother of 7 girls,2 grandsons.Ive been on SP, as of November 21,2006. ..Ive lost total loss 226 lbs!!!! & kept it off 15 yrs.Im very consistant with exercise & a very healthy lifestyle. I never go below 1200 calories a day or over 1500 & I get at the least 8 hours of sleep a night. There is no SUCH THING AS DIETS!!! Its a way of life YOU have to continue it to remain healthy. Im very much into running on my mill & strength training.Also LOVE my Bowflex Treadclimber.. Hey keeps me young.. I weigh in at 120lbs-THATS over 27lbs lost with Sparkpeople!!! I also now wear a size 0-2!!!! in jeans or dress pants, a x-small top...I tell everyone to never give up cause YOU can do it!!!.. Be committed to you be your own best friend. Like I say "No one can do it for you but you"Now get up & get that Beautiful body moving cause a new you is waiting!!I'm here for you all!!

If ya noticed the scale has upped a little on my weight counter due too I'm strength training & I have to build muscle so I don't look scary skinny!!.. That's not a healthy way to be... I still wear all my clothing.. ALL have to remember that muscle is lean & weights in more than fat so I am welcoming the more improved me!!.. I feel GREAT!!!!

Well I'm another year older & I don't feel like a 51 yr old I feel so much YOUNGER!!
I feel like I'm still in my 20's BUT got to avoid mirrors!!!

YES I did 100 thousand fitness minutes!
I love & I look VERY forward to getting my workouts in daily, being very consistant with my workouts & my healthy eating is the key to keeping me healthy!
My Uncle is 92yrs young & he is still exercising everyday! He has no health issues & the Dr's said what ever he is doing to keep himself as healthy as he is to never stop.
I feel the same way,I NEVER want to STOP!
Never ever Dreamed I would be like I am today!

My Goals:
Ive kept it off (the weight) for 8 years now and I intend to keep it off "FOREVER". Im Running a 30 miles a week.Im now at maintenance, Im still working-out BUT not as hard as I was . Im still eatting very healthy. Im living a GREAT lifestyle.


My Program:
I have a daily schedule I keep on . Im up at 5 am 7 days a week I work~out for 1~1/2- 2~1/2 hours. Im getting into jog/running on my mill & I LOVE IT!!! Also strength training .6/23/08.measurements.. 34~22~33...WOOHOO~ BOWFLEX Love it!!



Personal Information:
LOVE my treadmill and my workouts help me so much keeping me healthy..


Other Information:
I love Trucks Big trucks ! I use to drive tractor trailer and I cant be in a small car !! favorite singer ~~Trace Adkins~hes one HOT man!! Oh Im a Tom~boy also!!

    Chris - I'm such an airhead. I just posted my comment to you on my own page. Now it looks like I'm tooting my own horn and giving myself kudos lol. Wanted to let you know that I now think you're even more incredible than I originally thought. What a strong person you are to have overcome so many obstacles. You should post your story on the success stories page. I know now that you will never be defeated at anything & will rise above anything thrown at you. I, too, have toned immensely since becoming a totally addicted gym rat. Everytime I look in the mirror and see cuts, I feel like I'm looking at someone else's body w/my head on it. :)

    Talk about an awesome lady! How in the world did you stick to an eating plan for so long? That's mind-boggling. I did it once for 6 months - not a morsel of food went into my mouth that didn't get tracked. Then I reached my goal - look out! The 1st event was my friend's wedding & there was no holding me back. I think I sampled EVERYTHING at the cocktail hour & then had dinner/dessert. I guess that's why I gained 15 pounds before cracking down again. See, I need someone like you living nearby that would rip the food right out of my hand lol. Those last 5 pounds will eventually come off, but they've been with you the longest & just don't want to leave. I've been battling the same few pounds now for months. I get within 1.5 pounds of goal & then it's up another 2, down 1, etc. I know you can do it, though, look what you've already accomplished.
