    The smoke lifted for a while last night, then came back so we had to turn the air conditioner off again. I wasn't able to turn it back on until this morning around 8am...I barley slept last night because it was so sticky (103 here) so today I took a nice long nap. So far the smoke isn't bad.

    We're having a heat advisory as well. 103 to 106 in a couple of days. For the most part, our summer temps have been cooler. We even had a few days in the 80's. Unheard of in the desert. Hang in there. Fall is almost here..(hard to believe) lol

    It was a "rats" kind of day yesterday! From start to finish but I was happy to be there to help my team out as they are such a great group of people to work with. No lunch and no rest for 8 hours. John said I snored all night which is very unusual for me! I guess I was tired.
    I hope your Thursday has been "fun" with all your projects. It sounds like you are working hard redoing all of that furniture. The result is always so great.

    Hi, how are you doing with the recovering them? I hope you'll take pics so we can see them. I hope your day is great.

    We were 103 plus the index of 108 at 7 pm. The next 4 days we will be in the 100's with the index. WOW! Summer is serious.
    We did our food shopping at 7 am. I've watered both yards.
    Now it's almost lunch time here.

    My 18 yr. old GD leaves on Saturday for her college about 90 miles away. We will go see her that morning around 8 am. I sure will miss her smiles. The almost 14 yr started online school yesterday. Hubby and I are both sad and happy for them both.
