I'm attending college in at Clemson University, in Upstate South Carolina. I hope to someday become a very skilled architect, but who knows what my future holds. I love learning; I'm particularly fond of literature, math, and languages. If I could, I would learn how to speak every language. Right now my goals are to be fluent in Spanish, and if I ever have the time I also want to learn Chinese, German, and Arabic. I'm originally a yankee from Pittsburgh. I've a very large, and a lot of the time very stressful family, which is a lot of the reason for my weight (although I still love them to death.). I'm an optimistic person who just cannot seem to push herself to lose this weight!

I want to lose anywhere from 70-100 lbs. If I get to 150, I will be ecstatic, and if I get lower I will probably die of happiness. I've always been heavy. Right now, at my starting point, I'm around 230 lbs. I need to be at 150 lbs to be at a BMI healthy weight for my height. However, I also recognize I am NOT the kind of person who can be a twig- I've a big bone structure. I'm going to stop when it is healthy for me to stop. I don't want a stomach. I'm terrified of getting diabetes, as I've a condition called PCOS which aids in my weight gain as well as makes it more likely for me to get such illnesses as diabetes, cancer, and heart diseases. However, my grandmother (on the opposite side from the PCOS condition) had diabetes, so I know I'm at an extremely high likelihood of getting it...and I don't want it. I want to live a healthy life for myself and my future family.

I'm a passionate, caring person. I just want to be able to live my life to the fullest and not be held back by my insecurities!
