Hello and Happy September 2019! So I'm Here! I've made some changes to my lifestyle, joined a strengthening gym class! Weights, barbells dumbbells, weighted bar! Don't know why I avoided that most of my life...I just did cardio. Mind you I did tons of deep water aerobics classes and that has helped with building some muscle and toning but to prevent osteoporosis I was told by my doctor strength and weights are the way to go. Loving it! Still need to do the cardio though and I'm mixing that up now, 3-4 options. Sparking Along! Update! I'm with the Teddy Bears in the Spring 5% Challenge! Update Snow More Excuses Biggest Loser Winter Challenge with the Crystal Tigers 2018 1. So I'm getting more active by walking outside, in the cold! I seem to like the fresh air and you know, you CAN lose weight that way. I'm just worried about my gym membership since I'm not using it as much. I just use it for the elliptical and treadmill. I need to Make getting exercise consistent and try different forms. 2. I need to look up more vegetarian or vegan meal ideas. 3. I need to go to bed EARLY. sNOw MORE Excuses over the Holidays, Why not? Update Fall 2018! So I joined the 5% Challenge and am making a Diet Commitment right now! Go Walkers Runners Joggers and Gadgeteers Team! :D And Good luck to Everyone doing the 5% Challenge! Update Summer 2018! So I know now that raw Veggies and Fruits make me feel much better! And so does body weight exercises too! I usually do physical therapy exercises for my neck and back and ankles and feet, all with body weight exercises. And believe it or not, I lose weight with just my Physical Therapy exercises! I just need to look up more recipes that are veggie friendly :D Because when Boredom sets in, Well, I get Distracted. Like I'm making a comeback! or Comeback, after how many times? Oftentimes I would go at it hard with weight loss, eat clean and exercise a lot then I would gain, go at it hard with that too. I'm looking for a sustainable weight loss, not extremes. The Spark Community is a great place to learn that! :))

Fitness Minutes: 67,302

My Goals:
Well my fighting weight is 127 lbs and I'm 5'2, female. Not there yet :)) If I reduce the amount of sugar and junk food, that would be ideal. Doing the 80% healthy food a week is great for me.
I want to fit into my skinny jeans again. Don't you just hate it when ya got all those nice clothes and they don't fit?
We're planning on going on a beach vacation in Nov 2017. My sister and i did an excursion in February in beautiful Mexico, Cancun, At El Rio Secreto and boy, I was pooped swimming in that cave :D So I guess you could say I'm in training for that.


My Program:
My exercise is 4 days a week water tabata/deep water aerobics. Walk an hour the other days. I'm just starting the step aerobics but I'll just do that 2 days a week. I plan on doing the light jogging once i reach my goal weight to not put too much stress on my ankle. Hopefully after 3 mos, like August 2017. Activity every day. The walking days are my rest days.



Personal Information:
I love my God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit and Mother Mary, the Archangels, angels and saints. The Rosary is the way to Go!

    "I will do one thing today I don't want to do just for the exercise". Now we all know about doing things we don't want to do when it comes to getting ahead in our careers, vocation, as a student. But for some strange reason, we may find it hard to do when it comes to leading a healthy lifestyle. Some days are harder than others but it feels good knowing that you've done the right thing for yourself. You battled it out and you WON! They say that when you start a healthy habit there is this awkward stage, because it's something new. So expect that so it can be easier. Prepare yourself. I usually try to Persuade myself, like, I'm gonna put up with this temporary discomfort so I won't be a slave to my unhealthy habit for Today. And every time you do something good for you, your Brain is paying attention and it keeps score. That makes it easier to do the next time. E-a-s-i-e-r. As my favourite saying says : "Always do your best. What you plant now you will harvest later". Keep on fighting Spark People emoticon
