Thank you for reading my blog about my dress code rebellion and sharing your story. It’s hard to imagine now how many obstacles, great and small, that women faced and how we once just accepted it as “the way things were.”

I really enjoyed your comment on my "expertise" blog today. Like you, I'm still on many "professional" email blasts. I remain interested in "law" -- cases and principles and precedents. But I'm not so interested in the gossip, the personalities, the infighting . . . very glad to just redirect my attentions away from that!! Because I no longer need to pay attention!! 3 days ago

Thank you for reading my blog “… not Donna Reed” and sharing your story I did get a few comments from those who grew up in suburbia back then in similar circumstances to the TV show. As you describe, life on a farm was very different. So was life in a city of 8 million. Perfection as defined by others may not be possible, but we can all strive to become a more perfect version of ourselves.
