Hi! I read your post about cravings carbs like bread and pasta. Have you ever tried Shirataki Yam noodles? They are a great substitute for pasta and get this - they have ZERO calories! They are found in Asian grocery stores.
And switching to Ezekiel bread from regular bread would definitely help too. I couldn't believe how delicious that super healthy bread tasted!
I'm not actually a pregnant vegan. I'm vegetarian at the moment, but working my way back to vegan. I tend to backslide into lacto-ovo vegetarianism when pregnant, for no good reason. :/
Quinoa is great, since it's a complete protein in itself, and so high in iron. You can cook it and add it to anything you'd normally eat with rice. I make a lot of veggie/bean stews that I can store and eat throughout the week, too. 4091 days ago
