Thanks for your comment on my “Bike Fest” blog. I hope your trail rash is not too bad. The Giant XTC is a great bike. Did you test ride any 27.5” bikes? Giant has sworn to emphasize only on 27.5” bikes. Specialized has brought out few 27.5” bikes.
Now that you are a hardcore trail rider, you may want to invest in some protective gear. I always wear gloves. I prefer Fox short gloves with gel padding. I also have long Pearl Izumi and Fox gloves.
I have knee and elbow pads. I like six-six-one (661) “Rage” pads. These 661 pads are made for adults, rather than kids or skinny racers.
A helmet is an absolute must!
I am anxious to hear about your riding adventures.

Thanks for commenting on my “Walking Cast” rant. I am not my normal bubbly self. I have photos of my foot when the nurse took off the bandages. I didn’t want to post any of these photos and gross out anyone. There is a big cut over my ankle that goes up my calf and down along my foot. I have a jillion stitches. My foot, ankle and calf are all black and blue. Now that the swelling has gone down, the cast is rubbing against the incision and driving my batty.

Hey, thanks for checking on me. I've been fighting some darkness with varied results. for some reason, I can't see what I'm typing on this page until I post the comment, so this may be an interesting collection of mishmash. I'm here. I'm getting by. And I'm trying to get back to working out regularly. Trying is the key word there. 2584 days ago
