Introduction Text Hi, I'm Carla. I am a 30 year old single mother, full-time student, assistant to an executive director at a pregnancy center and I live in Central Texas. I moved here so that my son could attend the school for the deaf. He is doing very well! I have been here for a few years now, but I am still trying to get used to being away from my parents. I have a brother and sister that aren't too far from here, so that does help. However, no one can take the place of mom and dad. I have struggled with my weight for the past 6 years. I will lose weight and then gain it back. A little over 2 years ago, I lost over 100 lbs. I had been doing very well with maintaining my lifestyle changes and keeping the weight off, but about 5 months ago I had a couple of serious family issues back to back and that kind of sent me over the edge. I made great progress last year, but since the drama I am now only a few lbs from were I started this time last year. I am so disappointed in myself for allowing this to happen, but all I can do is take one day at a time. The challenges that I am facing will eventually be over. According to Jeremiah 29:11, only God knows what He has planned for my life and I want His best for me, so I must trust in Him while I work on illiminating the clutter that is distracting me. It's a new year and there is no better time than the present for a fresh start. I am learning that the only person that can stop me......... is me. So I am removing some of the stop signs so that I can clearly see the finish line. Ready......Set......GO!!!!!!!!

My goals are to lose 41 more pounds to get to my ideal weight, develop a heathier way of eating and to maintain a regular form of exercise.

I usually workout 5 days a week, but I am a little off my schedule. My ultimate goal is to be back on track by the end of January.



I love to read and I am a very big movie person. It is all about the romance!
