Introduction Text Just trying to keep myself in check and stay healthy. Why am I here? because my grandmother died of a massive heart attack at 52, and I aim to not follow in her foot steps. I watched my father turn his health around and I know that I can do it to, and by starting earlier than he did it will do me even more good. So, onward and upward!

eat well and exercise regularly - keep it simple :)

Intentional work outs at least 3 times per week, and as much incidental activity as I can manage (house work, lunch time walks at work, playing wii or going bowling - the stuff that is activity but not really a sweaty work out) paired with being mindful of what I eat - balanced foods, fresh foods, and a piece of bacon every once in a while for good measure (because total deprivation makes me do scary things)
