Introduction Text My name is Jan. I have been a member of Sparkpeople since December 30, 2009. I was very proud to have reached my goal. However, I am embarrassed to say that I have returned to my old ways and need to get back to keeping my logs. This IS the best fitness sight out there, but you have to use it!! I am looking forward to reconnecting with old friends and new friends alike!

Challenge myself every day to be positive, be patient with myself, continue a healthy lifestyle, and do or say something encouraging for someone every day.

Stay connected with people and don't withdraw into myself. Stay active. Eat sensibly.

My name is Jan and I lived all my life in Northeast Ohio until I met my husband and moved to Kansas in June, 2011. (See my blog). Greg and I moved back to Ohio to be with my daughter and granddaughter. I love the outdoors and enjoy all the scenes that Nature paints. I am a wildlife enthusiast and a "tree-hugger". I love listening to all genres of music. I look forward to exploring nature while hiking, kayaking, birdwatching and biking with Greg.
