First thing you need to know about me is that I am greek. Born and raised in Athens and I love my country oh so very much. The sun, the culture, the hospitality, the food, the language, the spontaneity, the mountains, the rivers, the beaches and the summer camping. I have been living abroad for the past 5 years and it has been a very challenging time for me. I guess because living abroad made me or tried to make me an adult. Adulthood far away from any support system can be nerve breaking but I have made it through with my ups and downs and I am proud of my self. I guess I never entirely became an adult and maybe that's the secret to happiness ;)
I am here to be part of a community, support and be supported. I admire SparkPeople's work and I am happy to be part of it!

Fitness Minutes: 10,121

My Goals:
My short term goal is to loose 30 pounds, become stronger, healthier and introduce exercise in my daily life.
My long term goal is to empower the woman I am and build my path with confidence and creativity.

My Program:
I have lowered my calorie intake to 1500 cals and I have started light 30 min exercise every day or every other day. I have also tried to reduce cards and increase good fats and protein. Water has been the most difficult for me but I have now managed to drink about 8 glasses per day, also realizing that the more i am getting used to exercise the more I tend to drink. This Program has been working well so far but I would like to start building some muscle towards my goal of becoming stronger. This is why I begin a 6 week crossfit challenge on April 3rd and I am getting completely out of my comfort zone. Fingers crossed!
