I recently retired and now realize I won't be able to enjoy this well-deserved time to the full unless I become healthier. I want to have the energy and flexibility to do all of the cool things with my 2 year-old granddaughter that she will want to do. I will be using Spark to make lasting memories.

My Goals:
I have a goal of losing 60 pounds over the next 18 months and of making exercise and eating well a regular part of my day. My exercise and nutritional goals will support my overall goal of downsizing and simplifying my life.
My Program:
My current exercise plan is to attend a group 90 minute exercise session twice a week and to walk for 1/2 hour a minimum of 3 days per week. This will be supplemented by my schedule of downsizing sessions which consist of my going through everything I own and sorting it by "throw away," "sell" and "donate," and then following through with those decisions.

Love to read, especially about individuals whose lives had a significant impact on the world they lived in. I also enjoy fiction that accurately represents time and place and people living passionate lives.
