My Goals:
To improve my health, eat more healthy and get more physically fit so that I can do more things with the hubby and even my kids. The kids and hubby are very patient. The kids don't mind me tagging a long to all the neat places we have in down town Salt Lake and they love it. I do too but I feel like it slows them down as I have to take breaks and sit on my walker and they NEVER complain. My hubby and I walk the park also do the treadmill. Then we set new goals as we accomplish the old ones.

My hubby and I do not get much a lone time as we would like it just is hard with the life we have so when we do we keep moving on.

I want to get back down to the 330 that I was prior to the Winter 5% challenge in 2013 right before me my knee surgery in April 2014. I had gone from 362-330 from Spring 2013 to Winter 2013 so in about 9 months. I so need to get there again. I am positive I got back to gaining by stopping use of all the tools that Sparkpeople has to offer and not participat

My Program:
1. Drink more water to be feel more hydrated and ultimately feel better.

2. Reduce sugar drinks including sugar-free flavored waters.

3. Watch my portions and eat off a 9" plate.

4. Walk 3-5 times a week with hubby/ Duane , darling daughter Melissa ( RUBECCAL)

5. Plan meals in advance.

6. Get better sleep to decrease pain and have more stamina. I will wear my c-pap & O2 faithfully which helps my muscles to get the O2 they need as they are very weak without wearing it all the time. It is hard to walk up the 40 ft ramp on the front of my house as my legs would get really weak just doing that little bit of an incline. Now they are doing much better. The doctor also expressed that he would like to see me using it during the day as well. I have to walk with a rollator walker and I just can't seem to find anything that will mount the O2 on the front of it so far.

Since my oldest son 33 passed last week May 7, 2018 I have been in bed by like 9:30 pm -

Personal Information:
I am 55 years old. I am working on losing weight to become more healthy and also live long enough to spent some time with my husband.. I love to do stitchery, sewing and many other crafts. I used to volunteer for Utah's annual Belly Dance Festival for about 15++ years I had to give it up due to my back and knees becoming so horrible. Now I try to do random acts of kindness mainly for friends to make their day special for them.
