I started my journey to Better Health 6 years ago on SparkPeople. My weight came off at a steady pace. As I lost, I became more mobile and was able to do so much more. I lost over 150 pounds in 2.5 years. I came within sight of my ultimate goal weight, but I slacked off a little. With each holiday and family event I gained. My own fault as I love to bake! I never left SparkPeople. I logged my food nearly everyday, even the major over indulgences! I still exercised daily. I am now 65 pounds away from my ultimate goal. I have taken a good look at my habits and have made improvements and will succeed in getting the weight off. It won't be as "easy" now since I already exercise daily and eat clean healthy foods. It will happen 1 pound at a time, but it will happen!

My Goals:
My ultimate goal is to lose enough weight to have a "normal" BMI with a little wiggle room!

My Program:
I want to consistently hit 5 miles or more on my FitBit daily
I want to eat between 1350 and 1650 calories daily
I want to eat more fruits and vegetables each day.
I want to continue drinking 64 ounces daily.

Personal Information:
I'm 52 years old. I been married to a great guy for 32 years and we have 2 adult children who live in the area. I was a stay at home mom for my kids and that turned into a full time caregiver to a couple elderly family members. Now my parents have moved back to the area so I can take on that roll again if need be. So needless to say, family first is my "motto" and my way of life.
