January 01, 2018- Is this the year magic will happen? Get Lean in 2018. It won't happen unless I make it happen! One is not suppose to give up. You just pick yourself up and brush yourself off and try again. Late 2017 I started watching Food Documentaries. They did motivate and inspire me and I managed to get to ONEDERLAND.

I do encourage all my SparkFriends to watch a few of the Food Doc's. There are quite a few of them out there. I don't know how anyone can watch these Food Doc's without wanting to make better food choices, not just for themselves but their whole families. I definitely will be eating more freggies. And cutting way back on my sugar intake in 2018.

I am starting 2018 as a Captain of the BLC36 Spicy Sparkologist Team. I will continue my FitBit Challenges with FitBit and SP friends. I will also continue my virtual walks at
I am going to try to make use of the Food and Exercise Trackers too.

My Goals:

To do my personal best in the challenges I join.

Be positive and Set a good example.

Get lots of exercise.
Walk several times a week. Do pool exercises.
Bike with Ollie Bird often.

My Program:
Drink 10-12 glasses of water daily - Stay within my calorie limits - Do plenty of cardio - do strength exercises 3x a week.

Get in 10,000 steps daily

Personal Information:
I live in SW Florida. I love the idea of being able to exercise 12 months out of the year without the expense of a health club.
I am from MN originally. I do not miss the snow and cold winters. I do miss my family.

Other Information:
I have a pet umbrella cockatoo named Oliver.
He is great company for me. We bike and go shopping together often. Sometimes he even decides to do a little entertaining, which is always fun to watch.
