I feel like I'm the luckiest person in the world.
I try to live every day in gratitude
for my life as it is TODAY,
right now,
in this very moment.
I'm retired at 67 and still paying my bills (barely).
I've been married forever (FIFTY ONE YEARS!)
to the man of my dreams (most days),
my high school sweetheart.
My 3 children are all grown,
as happy and as healthy as I could make them.
I finally became a grammy in 2009!
Now we have three little darlings.

I just sold my beautiful second home on the sweet island of Anguilla and moved from a little condo back to a three bedroom house (up-sized!)

I LOVE to exercise and meditate.
I also love to eat and drink!
Time to get rid of these extra 50 pounds that have crept up on me in the last 20 -30 years of living the good life.

3/29 -1***lost 4 in March, 12 lbs down!

5/16 -0 (after 2 weeks of increased calories)

5/31 -0 down 3lbs for May, 18 altogether

April- yahoo!!! increased calories- down 2 pounds!
update- it's Oct-2010- on a one year plateau but not giving up- never, ever, ever. Every month I try something new.

ANOTHER NEW update- after maintaining 168 for SO long,
my weight crept up 1-2 lbs a month since I developed hip bursitis and I am now (June 2011)
hovering around 180.
9/1/2012 update- STILL hovering around 180...
9/1/2013 ....still 181...
Will I give up?
NEVER!
AGAIN...12/2014 ...182-4 most days
(How great t9 be able to look back!)
10/17. After starting LCHF last year I happily touched 170 a few times but then slacked off and gained 10 back in a year and am now back to 180 AGAIN!

    Thanks for the sparkgoodie. Time …. emoticon . Yes, I did complete a marathon in 50 states. My first marathon was in 1996 and I ran again in 1997. I had a child in 1998 and I didn't complete a marathon again until 2002. After that I ran The People's marathon - DC - from 2003 - 2007. I guess I decided to do 50 states in 2008 and I completed it in 2017. I eventually started completing up to 8 marathons in a year - 4 between September - December and 4 between January - March. If I had known about RunningUSA.com I would have done it in even shorter time because they have a tool where you can located marathons happening on Sat & Sun. So you can do 2 in a weekend. Which is what began to happen in the later years. Most of them I did by myself but sometime I would have company. The last ones in 2017 were Kentucky, Alaska & Hawaii in that order. I am a comfortable 7 hour finisher and when I am on - I can do 6:30. I walk a lot now. + Now I am a bit adrift. I am trying to do Canada provinces. So far I've done Quebec 2018 . I went to Newfoundland 2019 but only did the half. 2020 - hoping to go to Alberta & Saskatchewan.
    I enjoy them for the mental challenge.
