Introduction Text Five years of marriage, two babies, and a hundred pounds later I finally decided enough was enough. It's time to take control of myself and my life. I've been working hard for 6 months and have lost almost 30 pounds. My goal is to someday believe that I am beautiful ... and to make others believe that they are too. My goal is to reach 180 lbs. by June 2011. I would also like to be able to complete several triathlons by the end of next summer's season. Another goal I have is to help other women who are struggling with me and hopefully make some new friends along the way.

I've modified my eating by adding lots of whole grains, and protein. Veggies are also a key element to my success thus far.

I've been married for 5 years this coming November. I have a son who is almost 3 and a daughter that just turned 1. I graduated from CWU in 2009 with a BA in Communications and hope to someday continue my education to help women with eating disorders.

I love to read, write, swim, and bike. I also love to do everything in between!
