Congratulation on no more than10 grams of added sugar a day. Isn't it wonderful, I cut out all sugar over a year ago and brought my A1C down to 5.0 from 8.5 which helped with all kinds of good health issues for me.
Yes, I understand about these city teams they do have a lot of members and most of the time they are not active at all. I am the leader of the Fort Worth Tx. team and we have over 20K members but none of them are active.
I live in a small town "Bonham" out in the country. We are about 40 miles north of Dallas. I was inspired to join all the city teams in the USA just to share that song "We Are the World" because of all the unrest with our political situation on the 6th of Jan. and the stress with COVID 19. God Bless America.

Hi, I have been doing 18/6 intermittent fasting with keto at 20 grams of carbs or less a day. I have done two 72 hour fasts and several 36-48 hour fasts. Once one gets past this first 24-36 hours, it is not so difficult physically but mentally, not eating is a real challenge. Weird, right? I am down 36 pounds since July 28th. I follow Dr. Jason Fung and Dr. Annette Bosworth for how to do this keto in a healthy way. Insulin is what drives weight gain, so fasting keeps insulin spikes from occurring and gives the body a much needed rest. I don't know anything about being a moderator and SparkPeople is toeing the company line as far as a "balanced diet is concerned. I think it is ironic that the acronym SAD stands for Standard American Diet. If you have Amazon Prime, watch a documentary called Fat Fiction. It is also available on Amazon to purchase for about 10 bucks. Absolutely eye opening. I would be happy to talk keto and fasting with you anytime.
