I am 71 and am active on the Spark People site as well as in options instead of suicide. I teach people there are choices as well as speak on the topic.
I am a mother of 5 and grandmother of 12 (8 are post-high school).
I'm also actively involved in my Church and with Commonsenseww. With the latter, my health and strength are improving. I rarely need to use the rollator (walker with wheels). I've gone from difficulty climbing 1/2 flight of stairs to being able to do 3 flights. ...

I publish Doc's Daily Chuckle most M-F on regular e-mail. It contains of 2 clean jokes and a positive quote and a little about what's happening.
I received my MD in the 1980's and heavily incorporated functional medicine when I was in practice.
Currently, I speak re: anxiety, depression and stress with the goal of decreasing suicide, In addition, utilize products and teach tecniques that empower people.

That's smart of her to continue to work as long as she is healthy. Although 66 would have been full benefit for me, I opted to leave at 65 when Medicare kicked in. I have no regrets.
