*My SP featured blog: Oct. 15/20 One day became 6 months ...

November 2020 - already learning that maintenance is not easy! I will keep Sparking, with your help! I love the maintenance ticker - set to 149 - with a little wiggle room.

*** My 2020 journey:
I'm reclaiming my life - in more ways than one. I'm establishing new goals, experiences and friendships. It is time for me to be happy. I now know that I am in control of MY destiny and it is up to me to shape it the way I want. Let the journey begin!

April 16, 2020 - back at square one. Never give up! Weight: 214.

May 2020. I took a break from SP, gained weight, stopped regularly exercising and deleted all my posts, pictures, SP teams and more. So many things to regret! Now a month back in, ten pounds off my body, and improved fitness and health. Thank you willpower and SP.

June 2020. I am down 20 pounds and feel great! Researching diet study evidence by Dr. Jason Fung is sure an eye opener. Carbs, not fat, is what has caused the obesity epidemic. Diabetics taking insulin gain weight! Who knew! They don't tell you that. I am avoiding a family history of diabetes by taking charge now, reducing carbs to between 30-40%, not 50%. I don't need to do extreme KETO as my body can handle carbs, for now.

July 2020. 30 pounds less! Look at my photo for before and after. Chubby cheeks - gone! Wrote a blog of how this came to be. I’m a happy lady.

August 2020 - 40 lbs gone. I can hardly believe it is this easy. (Only easy with 100% commitment.)

September 2020 - 50 lbs gone. I made my goal! IF works for me! Adjustment #3 - lose ten more.

October 2020 - Met my third goal - 60 lbs! I’m loving my new SP friends, teams, challenges and encouragements. Coming here is my daily “must do.”

Make substitutions. Try applesauce in place of oil, two egg whites instead of one egg, and skim milk in place of regular milk when baking. Look for ways to cut sugar and use whole grains, too, for healthier holiday fare.

Welcome new kid on the block and thanks for stopping by my blog.
    Just added this note:
I got a new Garmin activity tracker last spring and noticed that the calories burned was really high. that stayed consistent until just recently. Since I don't
"eat back" those calories it didn't really matter. Now I wonder if I really was burning a lot more calories in the warmer months?

Already took an extra walk today!
