I have had so many tests. I have non small cell lung cancer. Scheduled for video assisted lung cancer Feb 16 at M D Anderson. Dr. Rice is removed top lobe of right lung and checking lympth nodes. After surgery, considered cancer free but lung cancer is tenancious. Chemotherapy and radiation. After first infusion April 18, I got pneumonia and sinus infection. Chemo done. Radiation completed in October. Another bout of pneumonia, but I'm getting stronger.

I was diagnosed with lung cancer. Same husband had a massive heart atrack... Same week...our daughter came home from Brazil for 5 days to check on us.

Fell, cracked pelvis. 12 weeks bedrest.
June 18- Enterovirus from grandson....chills, chest congestion, coughing

January 179.6

January-February: fighting upper respiratory and sinus congestion.
March: On Antibiotics for bacterial infection.....once cleared, I started Enbrel for my RA which lasted 3 weeks. 3 more bouts of needing antibiotics. November- 2 teeth pulled.

March- Looking for motivation....outside myself. Joined several new teams


I spent January lowering steroids and in pain. I went back to 5 mg prednisone. Feb. Cataracts surgery. March Cataracts eye drops. April- visiting daughter with her first baby. May- cataracts surgery, issues under a crown. May-June urinary infection. So many antibiotics this year. July- living with daughter and SIL helping with care of 3 month old grandson and walking two dogs- baby boot camp. July- My brother died. Not focused. Trying to find my way.

Personal Information:
I live in Rockport, Texas near the Gulf of Mexico.

My daughter and her husband lived in West Africa for three years. They are returned to D C for a few years.. They have two sons, ages 3 and 1. They are living in Brasilia, Brazil. In August, 2019, they moved back to the United Ststes.

My husband and I love our little terrier, Sadie. Currently, we are both struggling with major health issues.

Other Information:
I love to read: spy novels, mysteries, historical romance and funny romance. I enjoy playing mahjongg with friends. I love line dancing.

    I just shoot for a pound a week.
    I have to get most of the treats out of the kitchen and freeze the rest so that I really have to think about it before I blow it eating mindlessly. emoticon
