I don't really care a lot for exercise. I like walking with friends. I am going to a physical therapist for strength training weekly. I am pre-diabetic with high blood pressure. I need to lose weight to help both and be healthier.

My Goals:
My goal is to lose 100 pounds.
If I can keep up the loss, I can be at my goal by Nov 2012. I am trying to be realistic as this will be a 100 pound loss to reach goal. Below is my plan.
10 pounds/month
March & April 2011
7.5 pounds/month
May-Sept 2011
5 pounds/month
Oct -Feb 2012

My Program:
Strength training with trainer weekly; 1 other time on my own
20 minutes cardio other than dancing 4-6x per week
Track my food 6 days a week.
Eat fewer carbs.
Personal Information:
I am 60 years old. I've been married for 38 years. I have 2 wonderful grandchildren: granddaughter and grandson. I am a 4th grade teacher. I like to read and watch Sci Fi - Fantasy. I love reading, computers and crafts, especially making cards.
