Returns to remind you: Be good to yourself!
"To the world you may be one person, but to one person, you may be the world."
Hello. My name is Lee Ann. I first "sparked" in 2007 and had great results for a few years, but then was injured. I returned in 2010 for another "go" and had success then too, but work got busy and I lost my spark again.
Fast forward to Sept 2013. Here I am, the same, but not at all the same!! I've had a dramatic and very traumatic time in the last few years with my health.

Fast forward to Sept 2013. Here I am, the same, but not at all the same!! I've had a dramatic and very traumatic time in the last few years with my health.
Last year, I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) - which in hindsight I think I've had for years. Three weeks later, I had major surgery (already scheduled) for an unrelated illness and spent the better part of a month olin the hospital with complications, much related to MS. Just 4 months later, I was seriously injured in a car crash (as a passenger) and 2 days after that, got my diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Last year was not a good year.
Just to put it right out there, I came back for support and connection with others. I am not even thinking about losing weight (although I need to). No, I'm just focused on surviving and living the best I can with what I have.
What else? Oh, I love to laugh! Including at myself and my situation. My current introduction when meeting new people includes the line: I'm an autoimmune poster girl. That's because, I actually have 5 autoimmune diseases. Yes, 5....but, the only ones that make me suffer are MS and RA.
I can't promise to be here often or to contribute a great deal, but I wanted to come back to reconnect with Spark, which was a hugely important part of my life for several years.
Be well, be healthy, and be kind to yourself and others.
I wish you every success, much happiness, restful sleep, laughter... and enough strength to meet challenges you face!
Thanks for reading! XO

My Program:
Now: Live in the present. Be genuine. Do not fear what may happen next. Just adapt to what is now. Do not mourn for what was and can never be again, but be grateful for all the life experiences I got to have. Do not cry because it's hard to walk. Rejoice that I have legs and feet. Do not focus on what cannot be read or understood. Focus on what I can still do. Stay strong and try to trust others more.
