I'm a thirty-seven year old single mother of five - currently working as a Job Coach for the local school district. I'm hoping to meet some good friends, loose some weight, and maybe get back on track after having my fifth (surprise) baby in February of 2011 and suffering several personal set backs.. I'm going to go slow, take my time, and - hopefully - make a change for the better in my life. I tend to be pretty active (my job entails being on my feet for almost six hours a day - and I love activities like walking, swimming and Wii Just Dance) but I know that there's a lot of areas in my life where I could be doing better. I tend to eat when stressed or depressed or bored, and a party always seems to catch me off guard. So, here I am ... and hopefully we'll see some changes!

5 Glasses of Water a Day
8hrs of Sleep Per Night
Hug My Family Each Day!

With these small goals I hope to reduce the feeling of failure and give myself the strength and encouragement to keep going to bigger, and better, goals. I know they're small ... but they're reachable - and if I can do that ... then maybe I will have what it takes to do more.

My Program:
Well, in combination with this site - I'm also just trying to make some small, but perminant, life change. As of this time I have no concrete "plan". I stand/walk a lot now, but summer is comming so maybe I can add more to my acitivity. And just keeping track, staying positive ... trying. That's gotta count for something!

Personal Information:
Currently I live in Port Orchard with my five children (ages 17 to 1 - 3 DD's and 2 DS). I work as a Paraeducator for the local school district and love: reading, music, movies, computer/video games ... and a whole slew of other things!

    100 calories? You have to ask yourself how does this compare to what you were doing before you started? Trust me down the road, you will have days where there are calories left over. You just need to focus on the good you are doing, and DO NOT beat yourself up for being human. If what you are doing is healthy, enjoy that and be proud of yourself for it. 100 calories of cookies or a 100 calories of fruit ? What you put in makes a difference too!
