My Program:
C25K three times per week + running to make 3.5 miles each time. 10 miles/week = new shoes (after 4 weeks). May's goal will be 12 miles per week and I will take an extra day off work to have a 3 day girls weekend in KC/Lawrence.

Weight training 4-5 times per week (30 mins each).

Sugar strike except for specific planned holiDAYs (not holiweekends!).

More veg, more water.

I like to read, go to the gym, and go to concerts and movies. I heart Batman and Harley Quinn. I'm a LOTR nerd (my engagement ring is "the one ring"). I'm a Netflix junkie. I have a lot of scars and wounds that need healing and I'm utilizing the help of a student therapist and a sponsor for this. I am trying to learn to have more balance and not beat myself up so much but also challenge myself and hold myself accountable. I am an addict of all kinds - drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, codependency, food, drama, etc. I recently started going to OA and I think it's a good fit for me - I'm addicted to food.

I remember when a couple of years ago I found your treasure trove of blogs (you were posting lots of nature photos back then, too) and read a whole bunch in one day, some from years earler. That's one reason why your present-day happiness just blows me away--because I know how much pain and heartache you've been through. You have worked so hard and been so blessed to get to where you are now. Talk about miracles! Your beautiful self, your loving husband, and your adorable stepson--the most wonderful miracle!

    Hi! In answer to your question about the grouping function - if you look at the nutrition tracker and see there's "Search", "Recent", "Favourites", "Groupings" and "Recipes". If you click on Groupings you can create your own grouping of different food items - this can be actual foods or ingredients - whatever you do to make your meal. So I have a breakfast one where I have just 1 boiled egg, 1 toast, 1 pat of butter, 1 cup of tea with 1 sugar and a serving of turkey deli slices. This is a routine breakfast I have - so instead of tracking each individual item into the tracker, I just click on grouping and select what I've already entered into there - Named it "Egg and Deli Breakfast" You can name yours whatever you want. It just makes it quicker than having to enter everything manually.
