Kris, I am so happy your sister is feeling better and showing some signs of improvement. Just look at what adequate pain relief can do. Praying she continues her rehab journey. 2 days ago

I just read through your profile, I have somethings in common with you. I also work in health care and three years ago I was injured in a fall, then a few more subsequent injuries that led to long rehab and its a whole long story, jist of it is I live in chronic pain as well. My brain is a real expert at sending amplified pain messages most often for no good reason, but that doesn't seem to matter. Its 3 years later, and I'm 50 plus lbs up. Im able to work short work hours and very restricted duties now and I'm so much better than I was originally but still have to be so careful not to get into a flare up. Congratulations to you, on pushing through and losing the weight. Very inspiring. I tried to start this journey in january, took the dog for a walk in the woods and next thing i know I'm doing a flip and landing hard. Broke my arm and messed up the other and of course my back. I'm back ready to try again...fingers crossed no more accidents. I have a nephew living in Christ Church with his Family. Is that anywhere near you? I hope one day to be able to go see him. You are very inspiring. Happy Easter. Oh and last thing, I'm also a grandma, or they call me Nainy, the welsh version of grandmother is Nain, my Dad was Welsh we sort of canadianized it....thinking Nainy is like grammie. haha. 12 days ago
