Introduction Text Being healthy is not a short term project, but a life long commitment. It makes no difference whether you are trying to overcome leg cramps or cancer, whether you are trying to lose 5 pounds or 500, whether you are 21 or 81 - the length of the journey is the same - the rest of your life. It's a 'lifetime' thing. You've got to learn to relax and enjoy the ride.

I healed myself of a handful of health issues including GERD, Intracranial Hypertension, high blood pressure, and a pre-diabetic condition by eating only real, organic, unprocessed food. My goal is to get as healthy as I can be - and to stay that way. I'm mastering the unicycle and I'm eventually going to be able to do a pull-up.

In 2003 I was blind and in a wheel chair from Intracranial Hypertension (IH). My neurologist misdiagnosed the problem and I was given about 2 weeks to live. I'm glad that neurologist was wrong! It was quite a life lesson though. I want to be as healthy as possible and keep it that way. I live in Washington state with my gorgeous wife, two kids, Moose the dog, and Pretty Kitty the cat.

Remember: That weight ticker isn't going to change until you do. Keep in mind that beating yourself up does not burn calories.
