We all know how easily life gets in our way. It is so difficult at times to figure out exactly what is going on and why it is happening.

I think that gaining weight just crept up on me and I have no clue how it happened or when it even happened. I feel that one day I just woke up and I realized that something had gotten out of control.

I have struggled to figure out what works and how to change, and recently I have made some big changes in my life. I have purchased a scale and I have started weighing all of my food. I have also really looked at portion sizes and how much I should be eating vs what I was eating.

I know that this is going to help me to change my life and finally help me to accomplish my weight loss goals. Now that I am starting off figuring out what needs to be done, I know that with faith and understanding I will reach all of my goals, it just may take a little bit of time.

My Goals:
To lose 150 lbs total

Continue to eat healthy

Start feeling better about myself


My Program:
I don't have a program, I just have some things that I have been doing.

I have started making better choices when it comes to what I am eating. I am also focusing on making sure that I am drinking enough water.

I work out at least 3 days a week at the gym, and I have started a new passion of running. I ran for the first time a 5k on the treadmill, and I am proud of what I am now accomplishing.



Personal Information:
My husband and I got married in 2002. Our first child was born in 2004, and our youngest in 2007. Staying motivated and setting a good example is important to me.


Other Information:
When I started out I weighed 280 lbs. Here is the break down and the "rewards" I will get for each of these steps Each Step is 10% body weight lost.

252 Pedicure. Achieved 9-09! My First 10% gone!

226 Spa Treatment. Achieved 10-09! My Second 10% Gone!

203 Tattoo with friend to Celebrate. Achieved 12-1-09. My 3rd 10% gone!

182 New Hair Style for the New Me that is arriving,

163 Facial to Renew my skin and feel great!

146 Spa Treatment because I am almost there

130 Goal Achieved!!! Time to Celebrate with Hubby in a Little Black Dress (which I have never owned!)
