Starting Over
My name is Bill. My life for the past 10 years has been a series of ups and downs. I lost my beautiful wife after a 4-year battle with Amyloidosis, and I have spent the last 4 1/2 years finding myself again. I did meet another person who enjoys the same activities that I do, and we got married 2 years ago. I'm looking forward to this next stage of my life, and I want to start it with better nutrition and continued good exercise.

My Goals:
I want to get to 180 lbs by March 2020. While I can't run very much due to tendon damage after a broken leg, I want to continue the habit of exercising daily while eating healthier.
My Program:
Eat healthy, watch the portion sizes, and exercise frequently. This formula always works, but it's easier said than done! I've got to find a way to make them habits instead of things that I HAVE to do.
Personal Information:
I live in San Antonio, Texas - an absolutely great place! (except perhaps in July and August...)
Other Information:
I grew up in Texas, but spent 26 years in the Air Force. After retiring from the Air Force, I worked another 15 years at Brooks AFB, TX as a contractor. I love outdoor activities of all types. I especially like hiking vacations. My son and my 7-year old grandson went with me on a 20-mile hike in the mountains of Wyoming last year.
