Need at least another session to finish and this is just early season clean up - lol! Sure felt good thois enjoying the day.enjoyed another beautiful day and seeing neighbors I haven't seen all winter!... more showers in May but the bulbs are blooming, trees are budding, and the grass is that bright Spring green! Yayis soooo ready to trade warm coat & rain boots for flip flopsis watching the signs of fall creep into my backyard... tired looking baskets of flowers and frantic squirrels "hiding" food for later... hello September! is it realy fall? It's 81 degrees and not a colored leaf in sight...is at another beginning and that's ok.flip that thought!is still going - a little bit every day. We all start some place and build from there.is waiting for the lake effect snow to shift... yup, I live in one of the white areas on the map but today it will be short-lived (so the forecasters say...) ... sharing a chuckle.... it's that time of year.... make that TODAY! it just dawned on me that if I added up all my "do overs" it adds up to a significant number of healthy days!!!! "Do Over" I say!!is working on Day 16 of 21!Geez Phil... we haven't even had real winter yet...!?! is celebrating Day 29 of my 21 day challenge (yup, you read that correctly!!)Dear Mother Nature, Never thought I'd be sayin' this but a little snow is much preferred over rain... I mean it is February after all.Dear Mother Nature, To clarify... I wasn't exactly hoping for the "Extreme Lake Effect Snow warning" currently in effect for my county... got days of the high wind and a few inches of snow from Lake Erie!?! Lake Effect from Lake Ontario dumped 48" about 60 miles north of here. Somebody is doing a lot of shoveling! is thankfulstumbled over this chart somewhere recently... helping me to stay inside the circle!is enjoying a couple of warm, sunny days to tackle early spring yard chores. My new daffodil bulbs are blooming !we're drying out from last night's rain... but the weather looks promising for getting some weeding done this weekend! ... it is quite frankly cold but happy the sun is shining!is hoping our weather has taken a turn... into "normal" temperature range. is chuckling... we've jumped out of "normal" temperatures into a week of hot...has been doing this... a lotgot out for a "heat wave" walk - a modest pace in the shade and caught a bit of the tiny breeze!!wants to say...and the heat and humidty goes on. We will be setting a record for the longest streak of daytime temps over 80 in a day or so. The forecast doesn't have the end in sight... so we sweat on. after making two trips to the same grocery store... am enjoying the rest of the morning in the sunroom and one perfect red echinacea.is wondering where August went... just thinking we could use some hope...Shared via CNN: "Everyone could use a little sunshine..." Hoping to time our walk for when the sun is out but it's playing hard to get with the clouds! after thoroughly enjoying an unexpected beautiful "bonus" day yesterday - am slacking off today 30 degrees cooler and drizzly... oh well. is enjoying the only sunny day in our forecast and the remaining leaves on the trees.. with two walks today!!
