Immersed in positive vibes

I didn't realize I had notes with my goodies, and I read them all at once. What a rush! I am going to my nutrionist tomorrow, but I already know the pounds are coming off like molasses. I have averaged 1200 calories a day. I walked 32 minutes today. I am trying. I was 12 lbs higher in November, but I had gained weight right before I started with her. Dec. my daughter was home from college, stayed the same. I have lost about a pound a week with Spark. If I don't quit, maybe I will be looking better by the end of the year! I really adore my Spark friends. We are all in this together. I don't like my new friends because they are losing weight. I like them because of who they are, how they make me feel. There are amazing people here. Sweet smart uplifting people. We are lucky.

My weight loss journey was slow too, but I wouldn't change it. Currently I am able to maintain my with no struggle. Because by doing it slowly there was no drastic changes to my way of living, everything was gradual. When I reached my goal, it just didn't seem that long at all, for nothing else mattered, I was there and enjoying all the rewards that come with getting there. Remember it is not the destination, but the journey.

    Okay Pretty Lady!
First order of business today is this: Rule out negative and passive words from your vocabulary! There will be no more comments like, "If I don't quit..." and "maybe I will be looking better..."

You are not a quitter, therefore, you WILL reach your goals!!
    Stay strong this week!!

One day at a time - one ounce of fat at a time - it all adds up - eventually. I'm a pretty slow loser too and it can be frustrating, but a loss is always better than a gain!
