cleaning and moving

Have been cleaning out our 4th bedroom and going thru loads of boxes filled with paper. Would love to just recycle it all, but most of it has personal numbers and such and so we have to go thru it all. My mom will be moving in this week/ weekend depending on how fast we can get our house ready. So the bad part. My house has boxes everywhere!! and I have no thad time or energy to grocery shop or cook much. So I have eaten no no stuff, and except for moving boxes around and furniture and vacuuming I haven't gotten in any excercise. It's a good thing we can count house cleaning and moving as cardio!! lol.
So my healthy eating wentout the window for a short bit. But in the long run, it will pay off. My mom is on LA weight loss too, so this will help me make the whole family eat healthier. Hubbie is also on the LA plan, but unless I make it and actually hand it ot him, he won't eat it.
Having my mom in the house, is going to be nice. I get help!!;-)
Seriously we are doing this so we can undo some credit damage for ourselves, and find a house with some land and a MIL space. Kinda to our advantage that hubbie is a realtor! He's selling mom's house too.

    Sounds like you are probably doing my exercise moving things around. That's hard work. Maybe you can pick up some lean frozen dinners for in the pinch eating (be sure to look at sodium content - some are real high) I have a freezer full of them for times I'm on the run & don't have time to cook. My hubby works shift work so, I don't cook for him to often, so that could make it harder for you if you are the cook in the family. One time saving tip I've found is to spend one 1/2 of a day cooking bulk stuff for the freezer. My freezer has meatloaf (made into patties) & twice stuffed baked potatoes. My family doesn't mind eating those when I don't have time to cook.

    Cindy, you are doing your mind alot of good by getting your stuff out and organized... It is good for the soul and good for the entire body to get things cleaned out! you'll get back on track as soon as you can get re-supplied and mom is cooking LOL! ~ Kathy

    How cool to have more than one person on the same plan so you can keep track at home, too. My hubby will eat what I make, but if I'm not cooking, or get home late, he eats whatever he wants, so I come home to pizza and fast food bags several nights a week.
    Keep us posted, and I consider housework and moving boxes plenty of a workout. Physically and mentally!
