oh no going the wrong way!!

My excercise has been great!! My food has not. My scale did not like me at all this morning, so hoping it will hate me less tommorrow when I do my official weigh in. Not sure what's wrong with me lately. I have just been eating out of control. Every day I tell myself today I can do better, and then it has ended up not so. Most of it is circumstances, but I also had to make the choice to eat the "extra" portions.
Been really tired, and have been going after soda and coffee to help, which I know in my head will backfire in the longrun, but it does help for the "right now" energy need. But it has gone directly to my tummy. Guess I am just a little depressed today.
Daughter had a track meet yestrday, and her relay team got 3rd place. She was proud.

I am going to try and get in a parking lot walk today, if we stay slow enough here at work. That should keep me awake.

    Congrats to your daughter!!! Woo Hoo! Just because you eat a little too much is no reason to beat yourself up, I find it just makes me want to eat more, and before you know it, I am in a vicious circle!
    Water really does help! Don't beat yourself up! Take action! WE CAN DO THIS!!!! Together...we all walk the same path together. We are here for you! Hope you had some good parking lot time today!
    I'm going to try the Green Tea with mint and caffeine, sounds good!

    Hi Cindy,

    Some days just are a little off with eating. The important thing is that you blogged about it...put it out there to get it off your mind. I bet your parking lot walked revved you up! Sounds like just the right thing to do for yourself.

    My counselor recomended to me the Jetstart drink that LAWL offers - it's considered one fruit and one dairy. I mix it in my blender with a little ice and then top it off with some fat free whipped topping in a can and it's a lot like a frozen latte, plus it gives a little caffeine kick that I need in the middle of the day.
    I balked at the price, but after I tried them, I'm hooked.
    I also think water is a good choice too - my daughter always asks - are you hungry or just thirsty? Sometimes that does the trick for me too!

    Cindy... go for the green tea or green tea with mint. I drink the decaf but they have it caffinated too. At least you will get the benefit of the tea rather than the detriment of the coffee or soda... (soda especially).

    I have found that if I am tired, sometimes water helps too! hard to believe but it does wake you up a bit...

    You'll get your motor running again. I think the fast might have messed you up! (sorry) but I have done those restrictions before and it messes with your head, your metabolism and your stomach.
