Stuff that I had as my Spark Page

Tuesday, December 09, 2008

The following is nothing new - I just didn't know where to save my original stuff on my sparkpage since I'm changing it for a while...:-)

I am determined - I am ready - I am fabulous!
It took me a LONG TIME to get fed up and to love myself enough to give myself everything that I'm worth, but I'm finally here!

My motto is this: If I open up the door but keep holding on to the knob, I'll never get through.

My favorite quotes from my fellow Sparksisters:

"Failure is not final...quitting is! Those who can bear the pain of failing can ultimately succeed in any endeavor. Success does not mean avoiding failure; it simply means the ability to press on when failure comes knocking at the door." -COACHKAT

"Think of this as a healthy way of life - like brushing your teeth. If you goof up & forget to brush your teeth one night that doesn't mean that you quit brushing your teeth from then on, does it? NO - you get up & brush them extra long & then go back to brushing twice each day.". -CAROL54904

" 'What is the difference between a person who is able to keep weight off for a lifetime and a person who loses a substantial amount of weight and just gains it back?'

I think the difference is right there - in asking yourself that question and deciding, just for that day, what side of the equation you want to be on. You know how to do both, so the question is...which will you do?

Let that question be your motivator, not something that haunts you." - MORE_BOUNCE

"Until you can truly accept yourself at the weight you are right now and along the way, I don't believe you can keep it off." - ALETHEAOSBORNE2
