Found a muscle!

Tuesday, March 10, 2009

I've been working out over the past 6 weeks in the weight room at the school where I work. I try to do most of the workout during lunch when there isn't a class going on, but most days there are students there for part of the time. Today, when I picked up the 12 lb. barbells, I happened to glance in the mirror to check my form, and there they were--a matched set of defined muscles, left and right, one on each arm. I'm so proud! I looked around to tell someone, but no one was there, so I thought I'd tell you. lol!

I am right there with you. I am fascinated every day by the muscles developing in my arms. Can't wait for the rest of my body to follow suit.

Funny. I used to put the palms of my hands on my thighs as I walked up stairs so I could feel my thigh muscles! lol I loved seeing my muscles develop.

    Congratulations, how exciting!
I remember when one day in the shower I found my hip bones - I periodically check to see if they are still there LOL

Keep up the good work! emoticon

So exciting when you can see results. Just think what you'll look like if you keep it up, firm and no jiggle. (no arnie! LOL) So glad that you shared, and continued success.
