Basic Stepping Stones to Guide WLS Patients

I went to my local Weight Loss Surgery support group this past Saturday, and found a handy dandy little chart (purse sized) that I want to commit to memory. It outlines the optimal "nutrition facts" for my meals after WLS.
For each meal:
Basically it states that I am to keep between 1-2g. of saturated fat; 0 grams of transfat; no more than 20 grams of cholesterol; dietary fiber: 3 grams or more; sugars: keep between 7-8 grams; carbs: keep between 15 - 30 grams per meal, and protein: strive for 15 grams per meal.
I have sensed a bit more hunger feeling coming on between meals. I suspect that the culprit is the carbs. I have added in some "nutritious" carbs (meaning no white bread sugary carb type things) but I suspect I need to back it down to make room for more protein. So that is my goal going forward -- to follow the above chart as much as possible. I also have been adding one serving of berries per day (usually mix it into my greek yogurt).... (per my nutritionist's advice) and I wonder if the sugar in the berries is triggering any hunger pangs.
I do know that I drank almost NO water yesterday -- so here I go, with my bottled water on my desk. I will drink several of these today, or die in the attempt, ha!
