Quote from "Nights in Rodanthe"

DH and I watched "Nights on Rodanthe" with Richard Gere and Diane Lane last night. (I bought it for $1 at a yard sale this weekend.)

I loved this quote at the end of the film, when the main character is speaking to her daughter.
"....there is a different kind of love one that gives you courage to be better then you are and that makes you think ANYTHING is possible. I want you to hold out for it."

How true! When I think back to my former relationships (well before I met DH) because of my obesity I gravitated towards anyone who showed me what thought was "love". In reality these guys were NOT the type to give me the courage to be who I am, and even better than I am.

I am so very thankful that God brought my DH into my life ten years ago.... he is an awesome man.

I finally saw the scale move a little bit today -- down 1.5 lbs. for a total of 32 lbs. gone. I know part of the culprit is my lack of exercise this past week. If I move more, the scale will move more!

Here's to being more active (either at the gym or on my home elliptical) this week.
