I now know that my cardiologist says it's okay to begin working out, so why haven't I?

I really don't feel motivated to get started at all. When I'm done working I'm so tired I just want to come home, pick up my daighter from school, and cook dinner then clean up and go to sleep! I hope someone out there has been through this and can help me light a "fire" under me to get me going!!!!!!!

I understand where you are coming from but with a few exceptions. I don't have kid, but my husband and cat are like children... cranky until they are fed.

I have a cardiologist and have a slight issue w/ my heart but it's nothing of concern. However he did say that I needed to loose weight if I ever really truly wanted to feel healthier. Carrying additional weight can lead to so many other problems!

Having a job and then coming home and taking care of the family can totally take all the wind out of your sail, but you have to take time out of your day and think about you.

Take care of yourself! Think of going to the gym as your getaway from reality! Depending on what gym you have a membership with, some offer some really exciting classes that offer a different spin to cardio than just walking/running on the treadmill or gliding on the eliptical.

I know it's tough, and believe me.. there are some days where I just don't want to do a damn thing when I get off from work. BUT exercising benefits you and your health and also your family. They already are proud of you, but just think of how much more proud of you they will be when they see you are taking such a huge initiative towards bettering yourself!

I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT! I GOT FAITH IN YOU!
