Maintaining and not losing.... but that's gonna change

Well it's been about 3 months since I have begun to experience sort of a plateau, sort of a maintenance level-out. I seem to struggle with losing and gaining the same one pound. I weigh myself 1x a week - and I see that the honeymoon period of having the lapband is over!
Now is the time I need to step up the pace of exercise, and really get vigilant about every morsel that goes into my mouth. I think one of the problems is, that I have been leaning towards eating a lot of soup and soft dairy and cheeses (which = high salt) items. Not to mention the Pringles that have found their way into my life over the last five months....funny how they go down so smooth and easy, when ground turkey or chicken does not. Sigh. My blood pressure (at last Dr. visit) was for the first time in my life, on the high side. This is after losing 62 lbs. So I think sodium is indeed one of the culprits. Even though I do not add any salt to my foods -- I do not even own a salt shaker!! The sodium I've had in my food is also likely making me a bit bloated (e.g. water weight gain).
On the one hand, it is a good thing that I have not gained (I weigh the same today as I did 3 months ago) but as I have another 40-50 lbs. to lose I cannot be lackadaisical about this process.
So the game plan is to (1) drink water to flush out the salty items. (2) concentrate on weaning myself off of the soup every day and dairy/cheese every day (3) meet with a personal trainer and (4) eat slowly and small bites!
