day #148 on my personal challenge (see previous blog entry)

Well I am two days in on my 150 day personal challenge and all is WELL: )

Both days i have overestimated my dinner portions and got up from the table and dumped some of my dinner to keep it portion controlled.

Today my dear son gave me a slice of "treatza pizza" a chocolate chip pizza cookie complete with m&ms and marshmellows. I gladly accepted it *(he made it ) but later dumped in the garbage. I rather it go in there than on my waist line. I felt guilty for doing it but i have to be smart if this weight is going to come off!!~

The scale is looking good , ive been checking it each morning and today saw a drop in weight! Friday will be my official weigh in day, stay tuned for this first weeks results.

Today I took my daugther out to a playgroup this morning, anything to get out of the house and away from temptations and at the same time teaching her to keep active and off the couch !!

This afternoon I popped in my walk away the pounds video after deciding against a nap and catching a burst of energy.

This week has been different, i feel more energetic and confident and most of all i feel good about myself. This is hard for me to get to this point after so much negativity throughout my life and especially when it comes to my weight.

Yesterday i went to the YWCA to enquire about a membership, very expensive!~ I am thinking about getting a one month trial membership to see if i stick with it before making the committment. I also hope to get my son motivated and maybe get a membership for the whole family!~

I am excited about this journey to under 300, i know i will get there. thanks for following along!~

    good going on your goal
    if we can make an extra effort to leave 'some ' bit of food on our plate at each meal and throwing it in the trash we could save lots of calories and tears
