"Doing it" not just "Thinking it"

I live a healthy lifestyle ... in my mind.
I notice that I sometimes give myself credit for simply "thinking about" exercise and eating right. It's almost like I check the little "done" box off in my mind.
That being said - over the years I HAVE made healthy changes to the way I eat and my fitness levels - I've just had a hard time sticking with them. So now when I catch myself checking off "done" for thinking about it - I'm calling myself on it.
What Spark People is giving me is a sort of anonymous place -
where I can face myself, and the changes I need to make, and what I truly want -
and where I can give and receive support from people on the same journey.
Your success stories are so inspiring - and your introduction stories let me know that I'm not alone in this. We all have different issues, reasons, struggles, excuses, problems, successes - and yet we are all - step-by-step - walking along the same sandy path.
So to my fellow path walkers - hugs - I'm glad to be here with you - and we can do this. And to those I see finding the paths that lead to the roads of success - I'm going to follow you. I hope you don't mind.
