May Day Musings

Winter has finally past, although Spring doesn’t feel like it is making a real effort lately. The rain I understand; a few days above 60 degrees would be particularly “springy” to me.
Thinking about "home". Working slowly on the yard and garden stuff. The indoors could use a good “spring cleaning” too!! There are a lot of transitions happening in our lives and the feelings of chaos and lack of control are manifesting in through lack of housekeeping.
Took off another couple of pounds before winter rolled in. Unfortunately, I gained some back. My goal is very much within reach. Just need to get motivation and prioritization together to make it happen.
I am itching to get back outside! Walking, gardening and relaxing…
This year has been about transitions, opportunities, options and security. Even with all of the tough stuff in this and other countries – weather, wars, economies, I am still pretty safe and stable. I have a job but Hubby got laid off. He was due for some time off and an opportunity to rethink and find a better direction in his work life.) Health and home are both still good.
So, my point is still to BE happy; to enjoy the here and now!
Now is the time for clearing out some “junk”. Still using the "If I haven't used it in the last 2 years, it needs to go" rule. The Yard Sale IS GOING TO HAPPEN!! And if it doesn’t sell, I’m giving it away. Maybe my Spark Buddies might be the place to start? Anyone want to buy a Nautilus weight bench with 1, 5, & 10# dumbbells?
