Day 3 actually went quite well. Mixed it up on the foods -- pumpkin smoothie in the AM, EAS shake at lunch, and then had a nice small piece of shark for dinner last night. Protein count right at the top range -- 120! This morning I whipped up 2 scrambled eggs and will do a shake of some sort for lunch (probably after I mow).
For once the scale has been my friend -- nearly 10lb down since I started on the pre-op diet, so this is encouraging! I know it won't always drop this fast, nor do I want it to in the long run (been down this road a few times!). Amazing what Dr orders and a little (ok a LOT) of motivation will do for me!
