Where's the movie music?

When I watch a movie where the main character needs to get in shape that lasts about 4-5 minutes... kind of the Chariots of Fire music... and miraculously, the person is perfectly in shape by the end of the song. This is also used when a group goes to renovate an old broken down house... it also only takes 4-5 emoticonminutes, and wala... it's done!

I do have music when I exercise (with the chair dancing video)... and it's 35 minutes, emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon not just 4-5, but that miracle doesn't happen in my living room... all that happens is that my pulse is a little higher. If I do lose a pound or inch, it's not visible after the 35 minutes... oh, and in reality, the chair tap dancing, can-can, etc music doesn't end in 4-5, or even after the 35 minutes... emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
it's with me for days... in my subconscious... emoticon My hubby laughs when I quote from the video "say NO to inactivity! say NO to _____(ok- I don't remember all the words... just enough to make it irritating to not know what comes next!). I probably need to ask for exercise dvd's for Christmas, eh?... I guess that will really show if I'm serious about this, that I'm willing to give up candles for exercise dvds and elastic exercise bands...

Wish it happened like the movies... but, alas, it doesn't. So, I spend my 35 minutes emoticon a day (or at least I'm working toward every day), in faith that the right choices today will pay off in the long run. emoticon

Your blog was great - brought a smile to my day. It would be nice if the results from exercising were immediately visible - would really help keep the motivation level high.
You are doing great - just keep plugging along and you will reach your goals.

35 Therefore, do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. 36 For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised.

I'm excited that my chair exercise dvds (2 of them perhaps with a variety of music) will arrive in about ten days. They are already with a visitor who will be coming soon.
    Keep Exercising! emoticon

Wow such a great thought. Movie speed fitness. Remember the Steven Segal movie where he recovers from a long coma before the movie is 1/4 over and then kills all the bad guys.

If we could make that kind of rapid progress emoticon
